River glared at the wall, unwilling to acknowledge him. It wasn’t like he cared. It was cold and dark and she didn’t want to talk, she just wanted to sit there and wait for Mal to rescue them.

“Hey.”

She ignored him.

“Hey.”

She glared at the wall, pulling her legs closer to her body.

Jayne sighed and she heard him stand. He walked over to her and, before she could protest, he dropped his coat on her head.

“Thought you might be cold.”

“Oh.” She pulled it over her shoulders.

Jayne just rolled his eyes.

Sorry these took so long. But I made it ontime! Hurray! Its been a while since I wrote a fic, two years to be exact. So they're a bit rough.

OK, today is technically the last day for this challenge. We've had over a month and they should be ready. However, I was going over my list and a little less than half the prompts have been done. And I'd be pretty naive if I thought there are going to be 28 entries in this comm today.

I know a few of you are working on multiple prompts. You've posted your first ones, and the other ones are coming. And I know some are busy and need more time, and have contacted me about that. I understand, and have no problem with that. But overall, that's only a few people.

So I just need to know where everyone is. I'm more than happy to extend the due date. It's more about creating than anything else. I just want all the prompts filled. If you need more time, please say something. Post here, or send me a PM/e-mail. If you need to drop out, that's fine. I'll take on the prompt myself or hand it over to someone who wants to do more. Just let me know somehow.

RSS feeds again

If you're addicted to xkcd_rss, icanhaschzbrgr, or other syndicated feeds, we're pleased to report that we've resolved the update error that was mucking up your RSS feeds. While content was being pulled correctly, it wasn't being posted to the feeds themselves. Late last week, we finally nailed down what we hope was the root problem, so content should post properly. So my prompt was Holiday. Easy enuff for a piece of fluff but somehow this came out. I apologize if I don't fallow proper etiquette as to tagging and cuts and all the other stuff I have no words for. This is only my second fic and I still have no clue on the technical side of this stuff but I'll try.

Anyhoo this is post-bdm, about a year. Pre-Rayne. And I own nothing, I just borrow.
